TCMAS speaker and frag swap event

HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A FIELD TRIP?

TCMAS 2009 Speaker Event/Frag swap

When: Nov 7th 2009 9am to 5 pm
(set up starts at 8:30 Speakers start at 9:30)

Where:Apple Valley Community center 14603 Hayes Road apple vallley Minnesota

HUGE RAFFLE!!!!!"

And the Speakers Are:

Marc Levenson http://www.melevsreef.com/, topic = reef pests

Eric Francek:Quality Marine, topic = collection sites and MAC stuff

And a 3rd Is still waiting confirmation

i really have been thinking of going to new jersey for macna, if that doesnt happen than i will try and swing the city thing.

ya iv'e thought about going to that to. its my wifes b-day that weekend so she could have spent it in the casino's while i was at the event. i cked on rooms and air vs driving but now that i'm unemployed right now i cant afford it, but i think it would be a awsome time to really get to see and here some good stuff about reefing.

i think i guy could really meet some people with some reefing skills that is for sure. I would like just to see all the new goodies on the market, i really want to see a demo on the new apex.

I finally checked the MAC info out after reading this thread and then had to quit reading about it. It was too much of a tease. Sounds like a great time. I doubt I'll ever be able to convince Jason it would make a good family vacation. LOL Fosters & Smith should be doing one next year though right? Maybe I should start saving now!

I'm missing our club meetings. I can't wait for the next one and I'd better be able to make it this time. It's been too long.

On a side note, Andre, I'll be in your neighborhood next weekend for the BIG 38 Miles of garage sales on Hwy 38! I just happened upon it last year and it was CRAZY. I decided to make it an intentional thing this year.

I am planning on going to the speaker event in the cities. I decided to JUST DO IT. I've got the Reef Bug lately and could use something to look forward to as well.

Dan, I think I'm making this a girl's weekend and am riding down with one friend to visit another friend (neither of whom are reefers). Sorry, the ride thing doesn't work out. If my plans fall through, I'll post here and see if we can figure something out. Of course, I do need to see where my friend lives and where the event is as I do not much care for driving down there!

Im up for the carpool if we can.

I may be able to carpool now too. I'm thinking of making the girl's weekend another time so I won't miss some of one thing for another.

If you want let me Know, regaurdless I will be driving up there if I go, I could just go up your guys way and pick up some people.
