test results from my nano update 5/26/09
i did my first tests today and i think they look promising
NO-2 was less than 0.3mg/l
PH was 7.8/7.9 a little low how do i bring it up?
KH was 6 deg DH also a little low how do i bring it up?
ammonia was 0mg/l
specific gravity was 1.022 on my swing tester (i know get a refractometer lol)
for the first day after the live rock i think it looks pretty good. the rock looks even better then yesterday so hopefully it maintains this week and i can look at getting some snails and crabs next week. what does everyone think of the results?

Get that salt to 1.025-1.026 The PH is fine its on the low side but it will be ok. now just let the litte tank cook for 2-4 more weeks
What for that ammonia to go down befor you add live stock.

If you're manually topping your water off, you can add a little salt with each top off to raise it gradually.

Re: test results from my nano update 5/26/09
new results today
NO-2 was less than 0.3mg/l same
PH was 7.9 still a little low
KH was 6.5 deg DH better
ammonia was 0mg/l same
specific gravity was 1.022 same
i am guessing this is a good thing that they are staying stable.
