My light Rail
Well I got my light rail done for my 120 gal. sorry my camera is on the fritz so I'm using my phone camera. but I have 6-T5s and 2-rapidled Onyx's,and I'll be mounting it in a ceiling pendent and I'll have track rollers on the side of the light rail so I can roll my light rail to the back of my tank for easy working in my tank.
Re: My light Rail
Looks great, Jim. I like the idea of it rolling to the back so you can work in the tank. I hope to see it in person soon!

Are you going to have it so the height can easily be adjustable too? I know I am going to sound dumb but what are black onxy? Is that the whole LED strip? What color bulbs? Did you buy as a kit? Just a few questions Jim because I will eventually need something over my smaller tank. So far I really like the growth I am seeing out of the T-5s I am using.

Re: My light Rail
I'm thinking of running 4 roller sets so I can just lift to the next roller. but my lights are dimmable and if I set the height to 12" above water I should be fine.
No RapidLed Onyx lights. http://www.rapidled.com/dimmable-onyx-by-rapid-led/
T5 are good growth fixtures I'm using mostly T5's on my 120 the LEDs are hopefully the to give me shimmer plus there a full spectrum light so I have more options on my spectrum range.
I chose the Onyx because I can mod my chips add as many channels as I please with this unit because it is a DIY unit, I just bought it pre-assembled.
The factory assembled one come with this chip set.
14 CREE XT-E Royal Blue
8 CREE XP-G Cool White
4 SemiLEDs Violet UV
1 CREE XP-E Green
1 Oslon 660nm Red
