GRRRR

Its so humid that the fan trick-which normally keeps my tank right dab perfect-isn't working in the slightest. I've been doing manual top-offs with ice cubes all day. NOT COOL. One anemone looks like crap, and one of my wellso's do too.

use blocks of ice... freeze half gallon milk jugs filled 3/4 of the way. They will help cool faster.

I've been in your position before. It sucks, but ice is the only option other than a chiller.

Do you have AC? My fan keeps up as long as I keep the AC blasting.

I don't even want to know what temp my tanks are sitting at, there's no way to ac downstairs. Just not turning on the lights much and crossing my fingers for this heatwave to end.

If you have an egress window, the portable AC units will fit as the majority of the equipment just sits on the floor. You just need a small place to vent the hot air outside. This could be a window, or you could commandeer the drier vent too if no egress windows.

FYI during high heat and humidity, consider turning off non-essential equipment. Turn the lights off during the day. If you have a submersible skimmer, turn it off for a bit. Any extra heat from this stuff will hinder your attempts to cool the tank down.

It happens... I know I have a "stupid" AC that doesn't know to turn back on when the power flickers out. I have had too many ACIII alerts due to the AC failure. Hopefully I can replace it when they go on clearance in the fall.

Glad to hear the heat issues are corrected though.
