garret after i talked to you i read it all again, it really makes me happy to see people making steps to make there tanks more of a eco freindly system. Dude was saving over 150 a month alone on just halides. He also encouraged many to do the same and at least got people thinking!!

I would love to try it but the site did not have any prices? I wonder if they are the same ones you can get at home depot? It would be well worth it if you could save that much money. Or even if you used them in the summer and the other lights in the winter.

they said the ones work at home depot. I know they were not cheap. Dude got 3 14" 16 footers for 1300.

his were some special brand, they said the HD ones were way cheaper. He just had top of the line, HD could be exact same it sounded like it.
