My first tank turned 1
My first ever saltwater tank turned 1 yesterday!...Biocube 14. Time sure has flown! I also have a Biocube 29 but now I'm already planning a much bigger tank. I never thought I would, but I think I'm on the verge of reef junkie. Help!!

Congrats! Any before and after shots? You learn a lot that first year and that tank bug always hits hard. Just times the amount of rooms in the house by 2 and that's how many tanks you need imo.

I need a new tank, and I've only been back a year. So I know your feeling

My first saltwater tank (Biocube 14) at 2 months old having it's first few corals in it.
My Biocube 14 at one year old...I'm not super happy with the growth in it though. I know I have some issues going on in there and am not sure just what. Strong enough flow I think is one. Some things have taken off while others have either just not grown or melted away (Zoas mostly).

And here's my Biocube 29. It's 7 months old right now and seems to be doing better than my Bio 14 for whatever reason. So now I'm slowly transferring some stuff into this tank to see if I can get better growth.

the technical reason for the bigger one doing better. More rock, more sandbed, both equal better filtration.
