frag sale to buy phosphate checker for the club

I've been thinking it would be cool for us to have some "club" equipment. I talked to a few others about it and brought it up at the parade of tanks last month. I think we'll give it a shot starting with a cheaper piece of equipment. I'm going to sell some frags to buy a handheld phosphate checker. I've got a crazy weekend coming up but might try to come up with some items for sale after that. Or, if you're going to be in the area, let me know and you can stop and shop. A phosphate checker is easy to monitor too because it can be brought to meetings and anyone that wants their water tested can just bring some to the meeting.

They have a couple over in the Forks and Fargo area but it's just far enough away that it's hard to share them.

Best way would be a thread per coral with a specific end and start date/time. Either that or do a nameless auction and have one person keep on posting what the price is at... That way people don't know who they are bidding against.

I'll throw out $20 for the chalice.

And, I'm recovered from the sale so I'll list a thing or 2 up for sale myself soon too.

if we could make separate threads for these auctions it will probably be a good thing, start and stop times as well.

Jody won the chalice donated from Tiffany for $25
I won the baby percs donated by Matt for $20
and Jody also won the war coral from me for $20
and possibly the acan for $20 if we need more cash for the phosphate checker.

THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED! Soon, we'll have our first piece of club equipment. I will collect fees for the winnings and place an order soon. If there is any cash left, we'll hang on to it for future purchases.

Sorry tiff it took so long to reply, been crazy with my boss passing away and work building up, when I get time I'll PM you and see what other frags you could use to make it worth shipping, I have some Acans and other chalice that could use your tender care,LOL.

oh yeah.. and paid for mine. So someday we'll figure out how to get the chalice my direction, right?
