Yes it is. If i like it i will add 1 more to the other side of the tank.

Yeah I'm interested to the only down side I see to those is they will only go straight with your glass they don't pivit like most circulating pumps, myself not one of my circulating pumps are straight to get the flow pattern I'm looking for every one I have at some kind of angle.

So far i like it .Its not that loud like some people say. Lots of settings. I put the smallest one on my 75g and and it moves the water all over the place. Hell it makes waves in my tank. Now to save up the money and put one on the other side of the tank

What kind of noise does it make? I thought is was just a electronic control sequence electro magnet and the only moving part is the item inside the tank?

I wife have an expensive foot spa and it works on the same priciple... It does not make any noise... It only make noise when the moving part inside the pool become off balance. Yes they are expensive to replace. It cost me $300 to have it replace for her.
