75g reef tank

Well we got our 75 up and running. Got the 100lbs live rock in Cloquet at underground Aquatics for 4.50 a lb. Got it all in and am starting the cycling process.

Saw you got some live rock in Cloquet...i May I ask what kind it is and is it fully cured rock or fresh live rock.

it is cured live rock. The place the store gets it from gets the rock, and puts it in there own tanks to get rid of all the unwanted creatures in it. It looked like very nice rock. It is fiji rock. Some of the rock has coraline on it too. I would not have thought that the tank could have started to cycle this quick. Ammo and nitrites are up there but no nitrates yet.

Thanks Brad, Gotta look at a map to see how far Cloquet is from Park Rapids...Might be shorter than heading south towards cities.

you could also check out Allaquaticpets.com. They are in Elk river. They have nice rock and corals, along with lots of other specials. They are open daily 10-8.

becker pet & garden in detroit lakes has figi live rock also,and i think its 4.99 a pound and it is sometimes fully cured, but if you are just filling to start, it dont matter. they are uasually nice peices and they are located 1 block south of lakes sport shop & J C Penneys
