I need new T5 bulbs but i know nothing about bulbs. What brand is good ? Do i need 10k or 12k. Where is a good online sit to get some?

I have 10k right now. But if i g owith 14k will that make my corals color pop more?

I am not sure with the t5 but with the MH the higher the k the more blue and that makes the color "pop"

I agree hellolights.com has probably the best selection and service for lights. I guess that i have never really used any t5's other than 10k and actincs, I guess because most of the posts/articles that i have read agree the 10k is the best (fastest) for aiding in the growth of corals. I believe most people usually run a mix of the 10k and actinic bulbs for color....

ATI - blue special and blue plus is what I use after seeing Vishnu's tank and I'm really happy with them!

I am running hagen marine glo for antinic has a nice blue tint, really don't like the ones with the purple color doesn't seem as bright. I think it was corallife that I had that was purple. I've heard ati is good and seems to be used alot. Vishnu's tank did have a nice color to it when we had the meeting. From what I've read k is personal choice, lower k higher growth, high k better color.

Ok Fritz help me out with new bulbs. I love the color now. I have 2 ATI 12k, 3 Blue + amd 1 puple.
