New heater

My new heater is here woot but on the safety instructions it tells me to unplug heater before placing your hands in water. its a Finnex HMT Titanium Heaters 300w with electronic controller. If i cant put my hands in there what about my fish LOL This is my first titanium heater. Im sure thay just have to put that on the safety inctructions i just had to ask before i put in the water.

that is weird. i have always left my heaters plugged in while i am in the water. probably just what they need to write to cover there asses.
