Heater troubles

Anyone live by brainerd that has a heater just laying around thay dont need? my heater is not working not sure why :/ I have a litte 100w heater in my 75g and its not helping out to much my temp is at 72.4 i cant get it to go up. I will oder one of line tonight but it will take 3 days to get here. I do have a lfs but i think thay will ask 50 bucks for a 300w OUCH

I am not close to you but I do have a heater. I would do at least 3 watts per gallon, which would be at least 225 watts for your 75. If you are going to order a new heater I would get two 150 watt heaters and have one in the display and one in the sump as backup. Even if one fails the other can keep up. That's how I have it in my 75 gallon tank right now. Hope someone close to you can help.

Think i will go to Wal-Mart and pick up a 150w heater to help the 100w intel my new heater is. Then take back the one from Wal-Mart lol
