Livestock for Sale
Hi guys,
It's been awhile since I've been on the forum! Anyways, I just graduated college and got a job half way across the country and don't think I'll be able to take my reef tank with me. Anyways, like some of you may know, I left my tank at home while I was at college with the only maintenance being top offs done by my mother. However, this past year some events took place and the tank took a turn for the worse...hair algae everywhere.
Anyways, I am at home and have been treating the tank and the corals are starting to look a lot better, some where suffocated by algae and died out leaving a couple polyps behind, others had algae growing on their bases, and so on. I know taking on corals with algae seems like a risk, however maybe some of you are brave enough to take on the challenge; I've mostly eradicated the algae off most of the corals though.
I'm writing this post to see if there is any interest in my corals and livestock. I have the following and can get pictures if there is interest they are also in my tank build thread:
50+ head of torch coral (no algae, got it from blennieluvr)
70+ head of frogspawn (some algae, got it from blennieluvr)
2 head bubble coral (very little algae, got it from blennieluvr)
10+ head lobo (no algae, purchased from discovery aquatics)
two 30+ heads of green trumpet coral (some algae, purchased from discovery aquatics)
large war coral on rock (4+ square inches) (no algae, got it from blennieluvr)
a couple ricordeas on rock (purchased from discovery aquatics)
pulsing xenia (got it from blennieluvr)
4 heads of duncan coral (algae, got it from blennieluvr)
a sean bennett tri-color sps with the tips still alive (some algae, got it from TCMAS meeting)
I also have:
Coral Beauty Angelfish which has never nipped or eaten any of the corals listed above
Coral Banded Shrimp
Feather duster in a rock
Snails
I'm willing to work on the prices since they do have algae on them and I'm moving in a couple weeks.
Thanks,
Michael

Re: Livestock for Sale
Congrats on finishing up college! If anyone buys stuff, I'd be glad to tag along for the pick up so I can say farewell to Patriot as he's been a long time member even if a silent one for a while.
You may want to list prices, Michael. I think you'll get more takers if you let them know what price you're thinking.
