aiptasia gone! Empty aiptasia gone!

Post by obsessed Tue Mar 12, 2013 2:34 pm

For months I have had a few aiptasia. I put a peppermint shrimp in and he picked at it for a few days and decided he liked the food better and no longer touched it. Finally got some pickling lime and blasted the buggers. Voila! Aiptasia gone.

My question: is the white stuff left behind going to break down eventually or just get covered with coralline? Just curious.

It'll go away eventually ime, I never had much luck killing aips that way, they always move or hide deeper, my pep shrimp actually did the job in my nano, funny how different things work for different tanks.
