my Forum is gone, the guy hosting my forum lose his hard drive and most of the forum is gone, so I'm done with his I'm looking for a new host now and hoping to be back up again here soon.
sorry I 'm just totally bummed.

I wondered, tried to check it out last night and couldn't get it to work. That sucks to lose everything like that. You'll just have to chill with us for a while.

well I just talked to John my former host, A hole had nothing saved was going to back it up once he moved the server,figured he was good until he moved over the server because the server I was on was brand new. so sounds like everything on my forum is history, I'm going to look in my files because some things I had backed up as I was doing mods to the forum.
but if I don't have anything I guess I'll just have to start from scratch.
I just hope some come back on again once I get it up because I lost e-mail addies and everything.
I'm going to go to one of those payed hosts so if this happens again I have the right to strangle someone.
all that work and down the drain because my host never backed up files which I will myself in the future.

Hey jim are you gonna post the winner of the contest with out the other judge. if he hasn't seen them yet now he wont. I'm sure i didnt win but would like to know just for *%#@* and giggles.

Yeah I was over at Johns we were going threw his files and did fined a lot of registers e-mail addies and since I went on a lot and looked at everyones posts most of the photos that were posted should be in my Cache so it may take me awhile but I'm hoping i can retrieve most of them.
as for me posting the winners I couldn't even if I wanted to Vishnu Knows the results of the contest winners.
but I will be getting a hold of him and see how were going to Handle this, but I should know more in the next few days, first I'm going to get a new host and domain and will upload what we have salvaged from Jimdreef and go from there.

Is there a place that we can go to see the Nano winners? I don't get on here much and when I tried to go to check it out, I figured out that something must have happened to the site. That stinks!!!

Okay I got a new domain and host the forum will be raw for a bit but will have it up again this weekend. the New forum will be RRVReefers www.redrivervalleyreefers.com but you can use www.jimdreef.com to get on. then will tell more about the Nano tank winners.

yeah it will take about 24-48 hrs to have my new domain propagated into the system, then my work starts all over again and will be able to see all what we have left of my old forum

if I get a chance later tonight or by this weekend I will post what few pictures I took at the frag swap and get pictures of my new corals I picked up there too. but once I'm up on line again, looks like I will be busy re-building the forum up again.

Well I got the new forum up, I have a lot of work to do to get it presentable again. but at least now I have a dependable host I'm going threw now.
I am so sorry for any and all set backs,vishnu tried to tell me a while back to switch hosts because of some of the problems we were having but our host was a good friend of mine just trying to help provide a cost free hosting for the forum.
Well I found out you get what you pay for, if it's free sooner our later it's going to cost you somewhere. and as you can see it cost me and others a lot of work. and I deeply apologize but now we should have a pretty good 99.9% un downtime forum.
As for the contest winners if you can just Bare with use we will anounce the winners and get prizes out to those winners.
as soon as Vishnu gets back from India.

Again sorry!! but I'm learning as I go here my love for this hobby and fellow reefers will keep me and our forum moving forward.

Just saw this know its old post that sucks ur site got wiped out ! Joined up on new one though its crazy im like right in the middle of both of these forum s almost exactly one in grand forks other bemidji oh well best of both worlds LOL !
