frag plugs
I know we talked about making frag plugs a long time ago and then it didn't happen but I can't remember why. Is that something worth checking into with the frag swap coming up? Has anyone done it? Can you make decent frag plugs and save money on them or should I just go ahead and order some.
FYI - I asked a TCMAS member who had ordered bookoo frag bags if he'd like to part with any. I'll let you know what he says.

Re: frag plugs
I have about 20 I could bring to give away at the next meeting if people need them, I bought a 50 pack last year at the LiveAquaria's swap and have only used about 5 so far, I want to hang on to some but don't need them all. So if anyone wants them let me know.

Re: frag plugs
We'll have some extra egg crate. We're making a frag rack. Would you want some of that in trade or maybe a frag? (not the one I owe you!)

Re: frag plugs
I do need some egg crate actually, we covered half the 135 but still need a chunk for the other side.

Re: frag plugs
No I'm covering it because I hope to add an eel and so my fish don't jump out. So far they haven't but I've lost several fish to carpet surfing before and hate ordering replacements. My 135 has a big glass brace in the middle so I have to cover the other sides of that.

I think a good amount of this was caused by my clownfish, she's never jumped but I've lost a gramma, damsel, hawkfish and blenny, dried up little fish crispies on the floor.

Re: frag plugs
The eggcrate, just chop to size, it does cut the light a bit but I have plenty for the corals I keep.

Re: frag plugs
Some guy on RC took plastic mesh that's a lot smaller and put it on a window frame to cover his tank, keeps his wrasses from jumping, I don't know whether it's better or worse at light blocking but it looks a lot nicer.
