SON OF A !!!!!!

Well I was looking in my tank today and alot of things were not right closed up and dieing. So I tested everything it was all good except the nitrates they were about 5ppm thought it was weird so I did some investigating and found out that my skimmer was not working. For some reason the OR needle whell pump was not working so I took it apart and cleaned up and it is working good now. But the crappy thing is my tank looks like poop very yellowish and my frogspawn and leathers are all closed up my pink birds nest that was doing good is all white and I think it is dead... Just seems to be a bad week for me

hey Garrett! how long was your skimmer down for? your frogspawn should be fine in a day or two, i have had my new skimmer go down from time to time, it gets calcium buildups in the venturi pump and gets gummed up. also the leathers will perk up as well, hope that birdsnest will pull through, i had a few that fell(stupid hermits) out of there rack and he was bleeched pretty good if you have any color on it it might pull back, good luck

I have not clue how long it was down for things were just not looking good and did some checking around. The frogspawn is looking alittle better but the birds nest is done all bleached and not color at all. The big finger leather is also not looking so hot.

When it rains, it pours. So sorry Garrett. Hopefully, everything will come back very shortly and it's just the bird's nest you need to replace.
