Gotta add something to look at in the new forum so here's some random shots of my 33 gallon, some are new, some are old, everything's been getting rearranged lately.

Very cool I like the black sand!!

You can thank James for the black sand, he's wanted it forever but I'd heard bad things about it so I finally let him buy a bag and tried it out in my betta tank for a few months first to see how cleaning and such went. It's not too bad but it's very fine and I'm used to bigger grained sand, I was basting stuff off all the time at first, oh and I think it was too sharp for my nass. snail, he died a week after switching out the bed. Whoops. But stuff looks really nice contrasting with it.

I love the look of theblack sand. My sand is too fine too. Geesh. Thought I researched that enough when I bought it! Of course, I did add some Southdown playground sand to it. That's where I went wrong. Anyway, too bad it seems to have drawbacks.

What's the yellow thing right in front of the tank with the black sand?

The orange thing is a dendro, non-photosythenic so I feed it every other day so it stays open and pretty. If I don't feed it that often it will usually only stay open at night/early morning. Very bright coral but kinda spendy.
