DYI plankton harvester
This could be used for collecting plankton of pretty much any size, from brine shrimp down to small strain rotifers. Cut a piece of 2-4 inch diameter PVC to a length of about 6 inches long. Place a piece of plankton cloth of the desired size over one end of the PVC. Place a PVC coupling the same diameter as the 6 inch piece over the end with the plankton cloth. Now with a scoop you can strain your culture through this and then feed your tank. Total cost will depend on the size of plankton cost but the PVC is only a couple bucks. This is also useful for straining thawed frozen foods. Ill have to figure out how to post pics.

We should have a workshop up here so we can get one order of stuff and then all try our hand at making these.

Yeah I picked up 5-4" acrylic cone tops on ebay for 1.74 each, just need to get some 4" acrylic pipe and I'm going to make some reactors.
