Removing Green Button Polyp
How can I safely cull the large colony of green button polyp in the HSC 210? It is getting out of hand.

Can you take the rock out?
If so chisel, hammer,Knife and if there matted together once you break your chunk off and the polyps are kind of keeping the rock together just take your knife and cut between polyps.
just make sure you wear goggles, gloves, and mask when you work with paly's I'm guilty I don't wear that stuff usually but I know how to cut them with out them squirting.

Burn them! You'd have to kill the rock they are on to get rid of those. I used to have a big rock full of them and when they'd get out of hand I'd take it out over the garbage with a pair of scissors and go to town. Takes them a few months to rebound.

What they said. You could just take the rock out that they're on. If there are corals on it that you want, take them off and relocate them.
