Heard about this on nano-reef and signed up for a free sample.  Got mine today and dosed.  Figured I've been fighting with algae for months, might as well try something.

Let us know how it goes. What did they say about it on nano-reef?

I just got my free sample sent out today! I hope it will help with some small patches of bryopsis that will just not go away for me.

I didn't really read through anyone using it yet on NR, just saw they were giving away samples and figured why not try it. Either that or I am going to resort to chemi clean. I'll give this a shot first, it's a 12 week sample, dose weekly.

Day 1 after dosing-no change (shocker I know). Green cyano and hair algae more than yesterday, the water does look fairly clear though.

Haven't noticed any big difference in algae growth yet, did a water change yesterday and dosed today for the 2nd time. I guess it's more effective to dose daily but I think I'd forget so sticking to the weekly.

Dosed for the 4th time on Monday, after my Sunday water change. My sandbed is white. No cyano. This hasn't happened since my battle with it began.

Well knock on wood, cyano has not returned in over a week which is pretty much fantastic. Hair algae is not gone, but it's turned brown and was light enough that I didn't bother scrubbing my rocks like normal during my water change on Sunday, and I like my tank to look spotless so that's saying something. I am curious what happens when I stop dosing, supposedly have enough sample for another couple months.

Do you think there is a coralation (pardon the pun) with algae and the processed foods? My algae declined when I used only mysis, brine whole foods.

I haven't really had much for algae issues before this and have always fed pretty heavily, including a lot of small particle foods and I don't rinse either. It could be an issue in a tank not used to the bioload though.
