TCMAS???????
I went on the TCMAS site looking for a buy and sell??? do they not have one anymore? I need a skimmer for my new tank.
Re: TCMAS???????
You have to be a member which means you need to attend a meeting...is it one a year now? I can't remember....or you can pay a $30 membership yearly membership fee. If you earn membership, then you can see the ads. They made some changes not all that long ago. I'd rather not get into it on the forum but you can ask about it when you see a club member next if you'd like to discuss it further. I was OK with it because it's easier for me to pay $30 than it is to get to a meeting but I've been spending too much money acquiring critters lately to buy in yet. I forgot I was going to mention that to you when I saw you.
Jim is getting out for a bit...you could see what he's got for a skimmer and if he wants to part with it. ??

Re: TCMAS???????
All I can say is since their change I have been to the site once or twice, that's it. I go to see a friend's build thread but I do not post there anymore in protest to their changes. They probably don't care anyway, but I feel like they made a bad decision and refuse to participate on their forum anymore because of it...
I may have a lead on a MSX-160, but I need to see what he wants to do with it... Give me a bit to find out.
Otherwise check out Reef2Reef.com as they always have used stuff coming up for sale. You don't have to pay to see their ads.

I gave up on that place a long time ago but thought that new rule was pretty rude. There is no way in hell I would pay money to use the buy/sell and obviously I'm not making the drive just to hit a meeting.

Yes actually... It is the same one. I am in the process of cleaning it up and making sure it all still works right before figuring out what he wants to do with it.
I'll keep you posted.
