Coral wars

Here is that gold rush echinata that touched the decent sized colony of my acans. This was only a couple of hours.

Such a pretty villain though.

Sorry, Darren. It looks like you sacrificed a really nice coral taking care of that gold.

Somewhere, I have a picture of an echinata caught in pretty much the same act.

Oh don't worry, its just learning the hard way! What corals are those? That's some pretty good distance!

Bottom one is an echinata (not sure of name but it's purple with green, orange and some blue/grey throughout) taking out a purple and blue chalice. If memory serves me right, it was a 4" sweep.

yeah that's never a fun sight to find, i used to have an echinata, those things are just nasty!
