75 gallon in a trailer house
I know a few of you have done it. And I was going to downgrade my tank when I moved.. but I thought about it. And stared at my tank. And said to myself 'No, I love this setup'.
So does anyone have any advice for tanks and trailers/older houses? I'm going to be looking at a 1995 built trailer on monday (its like, the only reasonable large house in my price range, and is twice the size of other houses in the same price range) and want to keep my 75 gallon!

I had my first 75 gallon in my single wide and all I did make sure you put the tank so runs from front to back not side to side if you know what I mean? so the tank will sit on more than one floor truss.

Alright. I wasn't sure which way to have it facing. Thanks! That helps about a thousand times.

Glad to hear you are thinking about keepin your new tank. Sometimes it's that small piece of sanity in a sometimes crazy world!

Yep! It helped me through the teens with my eldest. It may cost a bit o' cash but I bet it's less than the loony bin! LOL
I'm glad you're keeping it too. It looks pretty cool the way you have it set up. Wait....so, will it be a peninsula in the new house?

Re: 75 gallon in a trailer house
well, I'm officially looking at the new house tomorrow, Nick is coming with to make sure its not a PoS house like the one we're in now. But there's a nice island already in the house, I was thinking to make an L (the island splits the living room and kitchen from what I can see in the pics) and do the setup like I do now, with my computer desk on the other side of it.

Be careful. As of saturday, we have an officer from the Tang police. Can't give any more details. Don't want to be a TangStoolie.
Does Jim mean run the tank along a wall, or sticking out from the wall? I understood him to mean along the wall, isn't there more bracing on the sides?

ROFL I already heard it, but I also heard what size the tank is the tang went into. Anything under 75 gallons is a no-no for ANY tang, and 75 is only big enough for the smallest species (tomini bristletooth types)
