electric usage Empty electric usage

My hubby figured out what he thought the tank's portion of our electric bill was so we could give some potential buyers a better estimate. He figured only about $25/mo. Can that be right? I work at the electric co so I guess I have the means to calc it out myself. I guess I have always been afraid of what I might learn so I've not taken the time.

My equipment:
swc skimmer w/sicce pump
large return pump...what was it again? on my for sale thread..can't remember LOL
2 BRS dosing pumps - of course, they don't run much
heater - our heater doesn't run much
4 powerheads
6 bulb T5 tek light - on from 2 or 3 p.m. till 10 p.m.
aquacontroller jr

I think that's all that would be plugged in. I'll have to look the watts up on each.

Has anyone else done this? Do we want to know? LOL

Same here I don't want to know either, but it sure is funny how every year I get a Birthday card and Christmas card from our power supplier. LOL.

No just kidding.

Lol, my electric bill last month was like $40 low, I'm like "something's wrong". Damn meter was broken. I knew there was no possible way my bill was that cheap.

I believe my power bill on the 125G is around $50-75 per month. It will go down if I ever can switch to all LED, but we'll see.
