1-1 Micron Purtrex Depth Sediment filters
1-5 Micron Purtrex Depth Sediment filters
1-75 GPD FILMTEC RO MEMBRANE
1-One Cartridge Refill (1.25 pounds) Nuclear COLOR CHANGING Resin
1-5 Micron MATRIKX + CTO/2 Carbon Filter
1-Clear Refillable DI cartridge
2-1.5" ABS Bulkhead Slip X Slip
1-DM-1: IN-LINE DUAL TDS MONITOR

The above it part of the original order placed for filters for the unit at HSC. The ro/di unit is from the filter guys. I don't understand what needs to be ordered to replace the filters. Is it just the 3 that say "filter" on this list or is there more? I see filter packages on their site, but I am not sure which one is the right one. There doesn't appear to be a model #. Maybe I am making this more complicated than it is?

It takes a while to get used to which filters you need if you have chlorine in your water you need these.

$41.00 - STANDARD PLUS DI

1 POLY SEDIMENT FILTER 5 MICRON
1 MATRIKX CTO CARBON BLOCK FILTER
1 CTO PLUS (MATRIKX +1) CARBON BLOCK FILTER
1 FILLED COLOR CHANGING DI CARTRIDGE REFILLABLE

If you have chlormines you need the other kit. BRS is a little cheaper because the give you the refill for di and not the refill cartridge, so you dump the di resin out and refill with new di in your old cartridge.

I like both places.

If you need a new ro membrane both kits you would have to add it. The BRS kit is cheaper cause you would reuse the di cartridge just put new di resin in it. If you have a 5 stage ro/di I'm not sure why you listed 2 sediment filters, I have 1 sediment and 2 different carbon blocks for city water. You would install in this order tap, 5 micron sediment, MATRIKX + CTO®/2 Carbon Block (5 micron), •1-MATRIKX® +1 Carbon Block (1 micron), ro membrane, di resin. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/reverse-osmosis-filters-and-systems/replacement-filters-and-di-resin/deionization-resin/10-clear-refillable-cartridge-for-di-resin.html this you can use more than one time. BRS has a video on how to refill your old di cartridge. The ro membrane needs to be replaced every 2-3 yrs.

Is that the additional $10? What is confusing me is the link is for a cost of $31.99 for a 5 stage filter kit but on your post you have $41. What am I not seeing?

The list I posted is what Garrett had originally posted way back when while the tank was first getting set up. It came with a ro/di unit, I think it might be this one- it has 2 canisters on top.

We make about 30 gals of water a week.

The one for $41 is from thefilterguys and the one for $31 is from brs same kit just different prices from venders. Can you or someone post a pic of the ro/di unit? I couldn't find a pic in the biuld thread.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was just Bulk Reef you you talking about. The link I sent looks identical to the unit at HSC except HSC also has the blue hardness meter velcod on the front of it.
