Par readings Empty Par readings

I just did a quick check around the tank and was seeing 250-350 on sand bed and 1 spot that had 500. The top of the corals seem to be getting 350-450. The spot the 500 showed up I have a bleached tri color that I have been waiting to color back up and had been thinking about finding some where with higher par, not anymore. I'll have to find some time and sit down with a photo and paint and show my findings better.

If anyone is interested in getting their tank tested while i"m at the swap, let me know and I could bring the par meter with. It would be nice to get a few more tanks with par numbers to maybe help with lighting decisions. I had a pic, used paint to add par #'s, and hood would need enough room to get a hand in the tank.

It would be great to test the Headwater Science Center 210 if you want.

My tank is a volunteer tank if you wanted to stop over and take a look at it some day. Just give me a call.

cdness I was planning on doing yours, we will get together after swap. Been a little busy building a new top fro the 40 breeder for the woman. We could test the science center. I will probably be leaving early for the swap and could do a tank before and one after if someone else wants theirs checked.

I wouldn't mind having mine checked but I live 12 miles away from the swap location and I probably won't get to leave right after the event as we'll be taking down. Maybe another time might be better?

You can check mine. I'm 5 miles away from the swap and running a panorama. It'd be interesting to see if I have less or more light than some others on here.

I helped my brother build a new top and stand for his 75. Took some par readings. He is running a 6 bulb t5ho with workhoarse ballasts, 2 actinics, 2 blue special, and 2 blue plus, bulb are 7" above water.
