Re: skimmer suggestions?
I have an Eshopps PSK-75H on my 29 gallon and love it! This is a hang on the back skimmer though, I don't know if you have a sump or not. Eshopps customer service is great too! You will want to go with the PSK-100H if you go this route. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer.

I use the MSX 160 on mine. It is really close to the Octopus lines. They are all good skimmers and you can get them fairly inexpensive too.

Re: skimmer suggestions?
I have turbo flow 1000 skimmer and it work great.
I don't use skimmer anymore because I run close loop system now with bio filter media.
If you are interested in it. You can have mine for $70... You just need to get an ocean runner pump and you are set.
