Input from all the Super Reef Octopus owners??

Just let me know how much better they are compaired to the other octopus and other skimmers you had? Why they are better. I just want to know what makes them so darn great! I have the xp 2000 supper reef octo.

Can't really help you Chefb. The CV-SRO-1000INT is the first skimmer i have ever had and i am not really pleased with it the bubble blaster pump has been replaced once and the second pump still hasn't impressed me still seems to have some type of flaw in the pump and doesnt want to work all the time.

I have only had 2 skimmers. First was a rectangular freebie I got from a friend. The other was an MSX-160 that I got from the same guy when he bought a MSX-200. As far as I know the MSX-160 is just like the SRO-160... I like my skimmer, but it is unpredictable on some days. The sicce pump is nice, even though they are degraded on online forums all over the place. It produces skimmate but I could clean it more to make it more efficient. Overall a good skimmer, but not foolproof...

this has the HY 2000s pump Bubble blaster way etter thatn the sicce or the sro pumps.

One thing I do want to know or some how test is the newr model of the OTP3000 octopus pump NWC that has the needle wheel impellers now. Just match them up in power and put the bubble blaster in the super reef cone skimmer and the otp3000 in the same kind of skimmer and see if there is a ny differnce

I have the sro xp2000 and just ordered a nw 110. Like both. The nw 110 has the same body that the sro 1000, bubble plate and gate valve. You have had all 3 skimmers they make cause I have seen your for sale threads, so you should be able to answer this question. The bubble blasters pull more air than there other pumps.

I have only owned the reef octopus NCW200 and a remora aqua c skimmer and a turbo floater. So no I don't know what other people think of it and like about it.
