The TORTURE
Its horrible. Its awful. So many corals online. All for sale... and my tank isn't ready yet!
Ohhhh it huuurts. it HUUUUUURRRTSSSSS.
It does stink though. I'm so overly impatient that it drives even me insane. Its only been a week and a half, and I want.

Re: The TORTURE
I voted BB.
Shallow Sand beds are nice because you can Get Nass snails, sand digging fish ect ect. but it's just one more nutrient magnet.

Re: The TORTURE
Shallow sand bed! I don't know how people keep barebottom clean unless you are running crazy amounts of flow, I tried it in my non photo tank but the flow is at the top and not powerful and it just built up gunk in one corner. Which maybe it still does, but now I can't see it and I siphon the tank and sandbed weekly anyways. And all those little brittle stars living in it are adorable, but maybe that's just because I've always wanted a starfish.
Oh also I have plenty of tanks up and running so feel free to buy whatever and I pinky promise I'll "hold" them for you.

Re: The TORTURE
shallow sandbed all the way. I just think it looks much better to have some sand in there.

Re: The TORTURE
I like sand critters too much for no sand. Nass snails are still almost my fav invert.

Re: The TORTURE
LOL same here Cammie you know I have my shallow Sand bed because I missed the sand critters, but I do miss Not having to make sure I kept up with a good sand bed crew and make sure I didn't let Detritus get built up to bad, My B Bottom always ran on the lower nutrient side because I could run my flow higher I didn't even have to base my rock my detritus would pool up in 2 areas of my tank and it was easy clean up on water change days, I do miss that. Plus I always lined my BBottoms with Starboard, so it didn't look to bad.blennieluvr wrote:I like sand critters too much for no sand. Nass snails are still almost my fav invert.
Re: The TORTURE
We're still debating on sand bed... more leaning towards yes. different types of gobies=better!
