RKL
You won't be disappointed. I use mine to control lights, heater, co2 selenoid, pumps, skimmer, etc. Nice thing about it is I could still add another module to it. It's the only contoller Ive owned, but seems to be doing the job. Good luck!

Re: My new RKL is on the way
I personally hands down like the neptunes over the rk line. They are extremely lame to program. But other than that it seemed Like it turned and shut things of fine. Not sure if some of rk have way to program on computer or not but that could probably help. Expandability us really limited as well. I can run multiple systems with one Neptune and as far as I can tell that would not be possible with rk series. Best part about rk is they are cheap In price making it much more realistic for people to afford and bottomline after initial setup it gets the job down for pretty normal systems.

Re: My new RKL is on the way
For the acronym challenged... what does RKL stand for? Context would dictate a controller, made by RK corporation?

REEF KEEPER LITE. pretty much a controller with temp probe and 4 outlet control center. Alot of bang for your buck, they all should be able to be that price.

Re: My new RKL is on the way
Never Used the RKL but I sure love My AC3 ? does RKL have the software to be able to watch and control your Parameters from your Phone? this is what I like about the AC3 I can see my data for the Hr,Day or month's for that matter anywhere I am and if my temp gets to high it will alert me and can shut my heater off or program my lights to shut down till temp gets back to Normal if I need to bump or lower my ALK or CAL or Mag if I have to I can do it from anywhere, I have my skimmer programmer to if I gets a ALk spike it will shut down which is nice theres been a few times my skimmer over flowed and AC3 shut down my skimmer and instead of all my skimmate dumping into my tank only some of it did.
like Andre said it would be nice to see more affordable prices on these controllers because they sure help to keep more stable waters and the peace of mind being able to monitor your tank when away from home.
Now if I could just figure out how to make this controller do water changes it would be priceless.

Did it come with everything you needed, or did you have to buy cables and stuff for it?
