HSC Sump Makeover.
We've been having some issues with our sump. So I decided it was time for a makeover. I will be dividing up the sump into three chambers. Drain, Skimmer, and Return.
This is what I've started with. The first step will be to remove the one short baffle on the right side of the sump, and the two braces.
Here it is with everything removed.
I used a Dremel vibrating saw to cut through everything. It worked beautifully.

Here she is all finished up. Glue will dry overnight, and should be wet again on Sunday.

Here it is back where it belongs. Eventually the two drain lines will dump into a large filter sock. This will help keep the water clear and get rid of a lot of the salt creep.
