I just got a royal gramma today and was debating whether I should acclimate it. I thought I read a thread over on rc saying that it was un-necessary.

i would aclimate him for sure being a royal gramma, they sometimes look dead anyways when put into new tanks. mine i thought was dead almost every time it has been moved which has been 4 times.
