Definitely the 24 gall. Do you know about the frag swap coming up in Bemidji? It's on the 30th and we're raffling off an almost complete 46 gallon bowfront. Maybe you should check that out before making a purchase like this? There might be other used equipment there as well & you can visit with club members in person before deciding what you really want!!!! Check out the frag swap details in this forum.

i would love to do a larger tank but we dont have the room in this house and we only plan on being here for 2 more years before we build the new house where i plan on a built in of at least 200 gallons. so i figured cut my teeth on the cubes since they come with most everything you need but hey if i can make it to the swap i wouldnt turn down the bow front lol but ill need someone to haul it back for me as i doubt it will fit in my mustang hahaha.

May wanna take a look here

http://www.cadlights.com/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=39

Lighting seems to be the (insert word here)cube's most common problem and the cadlights tanks seem to take care of that. And it's comparable in price and size to the Aquapod

and it has a fuge too, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you could probably dump the bio balls and put a small skimmer in that compartment.

I would definatly get the cadlights as well, that way when you get into corals you will already have the lights.

GO with 1-2in sand bed and start of with 15-20#lbs of LR. Thats the way i do it. most people go with 1lb of sand and 1-2lbs of LR to 1gal of water . When can talk livestock when the time is right Smile
