Re: help with rbta?
I've never done this but heard ice cubes on the foot will make them let go, or pointing a powerhead right at them so they get unhappy and move. Maybe Vishnu has a good trick though.

Re: help with rbta?
10? You have 10? YOWZA! I just have the one and it hasn't gotten very big. We're thinking of trying to feed it every day and see if it splits.
It seems like I heard someone talking about pointing a powerhead at them to ge them to detach. I'm sure someone will pipe in that knows for sure.
Good luck!

Re: help with rbta?
Another good way to get them off is use a plastic picnic knife to scrape them off when I use to let mine clone that I found was the easiest way to get them off with out hurting the foot.
Re: help with rbta?
i domt think i will make the meeting, i want to to see the drill tank but it is a little to far for me, but if anyone from fargo is going there they can stop by and pick them up

Re: help with rbta?
I put a post on Jim D Reef about the meeting so maybe there will be someone coming. It is only about a half hour farther than grand forks to come here. I think from Fargo to GF is 80 miles and from Fargo to Bemidji is like 110 or so. But maybe someone will be comming you never know

Re: help with rbta?
I have got one rbta in my tank and it has not killed anything. And it has been moving around alot latley.
Re: help with rbta?
I'd take one if their up for grabs too. Mabe Dedex would pick one up for me and I could get it from her if she makes it to a meeting some day? Wait....Val, are you having the next meeting at your place? I'd like one for my nano and I'm not sure mine is ever going to split!

Re: help with rbta?
the rtba has never been mean to any coral i have had. the one just split and they were living on a leather cabbage coral. they seem to like each other. once they start to split they seem to do it faster if you feed them. try scallops, thats what i feed them, also my carpet has been trying to split but i really dont like him so anytime i see him start to tear i move him in another tankn
