last night my lights went on my tank, guessing a bad ballast. lucky a while ago i bought a T5 retrofit kit, so today i installed it and it works great.

It's a good thing you had them already. Best case scenario if the lights are to go out!

I went with a 48"- 4 bulb unit, with each bulb 54w. the white are 12K and blue plus actinics. Really happy with them, my corals have never looked better.
