I know you want coraline to grow in yours tank but I have got to scrap my glass it seems like weekly. is there anything I can do to not get it to grow??

tagging along - I too, tire of scraping coralline off the glass. In fact, I'm letting it grow on the back of the tank more than I'd like to just because I'm sick of tending to it. I think a longer handled, fairly sharp scraper would due me some good.

Aren't those little stars a hazard for reef inhabitants sometimes?

not that i know of, I have had them in both of my tanks and i have never had a problem.
