YOU NEED TO ID EXACTLY WHAT KIND IT IS. There are some that are super bad.

Yeah, make sure you ID that thing... he might be a very bad hitchhiker. If he is you are going to want to get rid of it ASAP. If possible, pull it out and quarantive him in the fuge or something until you get a positive ID.

Well he has a purple body and green wavy arms all over him. It would figure he would be the bad kind. I never get naturally occurring good things. :-/ Where would I go to find out how to I.D. him? I guess I can post a picture, but he is so small it is hard to photo. I do not have a quarantine tank set up yet.

Is it hanging out on anything in particular? A lot of nudis mimic what they eat. Most have specialized diets and starve in captivity. I would keep an eye on it, if nothing seems stressed or damaged I wouldn't kill it, sounds like he is nice looking.
