T-5 bulb question Empty T-5 bulb question

I'm trying to figure out why our mushrooms look translucent and corals are more faded than they were even under PC's. i'm leaning toward it being a bulb problem. We got our T-5 bulbs off ebay - they were pretty cheap. What are good bulbs? Any suggestions of what brand and/or where to get them?

I get my bulbs from hellolights.com they are reasonable and have great customer service.
