Re: Holiday Party/Frag Swap
I'm not going to justify that with a response.

plnelson wrote:Forgot to mention, we have a sound system for the swap. The guy's name is Wes. He and my brother started "Ntertainment" a number years ago, and Wes has taken over since my brother moved to Iowa. I told him that we probably only need one speaker and mic. If we need more, it wont be a problem.
SWEET!

Re: Holiday Party/Frag Swap
Phil, were you able to do anything with the file I sent you with the flyer? I thought we could try to post it up on other forums too? And, a downloadable one here for those outside of the Bemidji area?
If that doesn't work, pm me with addresses and how many flyers you want and I'll mail some off to anyone that wants some.
Was someone going to check on prices of pop and the pizza or do I need to do that?
Susan, did you see if we can 1) set up at the HSC the night before, 2) use some of their saltwater if we reimburse them for it.
Phil, can you be in charge of rounding up the needed supplies for the raffle frag tank?
It would be nice to know who thinks they will be bringing donations to the event. Will they be corals, cash, equipment, etc.? You can post here or pm me. I'll make signs beforehand to label and we'll also line up collection jars for each item or groups of items. Thank yous for club members that donate will come in the form of raffle tickets.
I haven't heard from Mary or Dustin for a while. I'll try back. I asked Ray to post pics and thought he was going to try to do that.

Re: Holiday Party/Frag Swap
I think RSC may be going out. Check Mary's signature on TCMAS. I've PM'd them, and have not heard anything.
Check the last post on the previous page. That's the link to the flyer.
Frag tank raffle stuff- I assume that all the frags will be in bags, and will not need to be "displayed", but rather just a container of water and a heater to keep them warm?

Cammie-
I'll cover the pizza & pop. Not sure what to do, maybe cans but 2 liter bottles may work well too.
Susan
I keep forgetting to ask about set up- I will do it today, I'm going to be stopping in there anyway.

I guess that makes sense. Seems like it would be hard for people to tell what the options are if they're name is called off and they get to come up and pick one. I suppose they'd be labled though.

I'll be stopping in next Wednesday but I never know who to ask what around there.
I think cans would be easiest and still cheap enough.

Re: Holiday Party/Frag Swap
At this point and time i really doubt i will even be able to make it. We are starting another company and i just am going to be really strapped for time in the next two months on prototyping, and with the other baby due at the end of January my wife needs help around the house.

Re: Holiday Party/Frag Swap
I will never go completely out lol.
Planning on bringing a few things here and there... A good mix. I am going to find a place round here to post. Also I am doing an invert order that will be pre-pay I am going to put up here shortly. I am quite sure I am going to find something to raffle off as well. I will be pre-selling some high end corals also. Including the holy grail, the tyree pink watermelon chalice
Looking forward to seeing you guys soon

Ooooohhhh! A volunteer!!!!! You may end up wishing you hadn't said anything.
j/k of course, thanks a bunch for the offer.
Areas we could use help are:
1) bring or round up raffle donations (not from LFS....my opinion). Cash donations are welcome too as we plan to use them for thank you gifts or to buy items for the raffle.)
2) bring a baked good or munchie (not necessary but we're certainly not going to turn away food!)
3) get the word out....tell anyone you think might like join us!
Those who bring something will get a raffle ticket for prizes as a thank you!
Anything I missed?
